A trio of short .com domain names topped the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for the week ending 9 April, with lev.com coming first, selling for an even $200,000 through Garry Chernoff/DomainAgents. It only just topped the second biggest sale, d8.com, which sold for $196,500 selling through BQDN/Sharjil Saleem while BQDN took out third place on its own, selling w6.com for $117,000.
On the aftermarket outlets, NameJet was responsible for 13 sales and Sedo 4. On the TLD side of things, there were 18 .com sales and one each for .tv, .at and .net. The chart this week had 21 sales with a tie for 20th place.
